27. Tennessee Titans: Jaquan Brisker, Safety, Penn State

At a point earlier this season, the Tennessee Titans looked like the best team in the AFC. However multiple injuries to star players have left the Titans looking like a shell of the team they were earlier this season at this point. They are expected to get healthier after their bye in Week 13. When healthy Tennessee has a well-rounded roster and doesn’t have many major needs.

Tennessee had done a solid job rebuilding their defense this past offseason. One veteran they failed to replace was safety Kenny Vaccaro. The Titans have the opportunity to draft a Penn State safety Jaquan Brisker in this 2022 NFL Mock Draft. Brisker is a playmaker at Penn State. Not only is Brisker a great tackler but he has a nose for the football as well. Adding another playmaker and ballhawk to play deep with Kevin Byard could send Tennessee’s defense over the top.

The Titans have a very young secondary with a lot of potential. They have invested multiple premium draft picks trying to rebuild this secondary that used to be the strength of this team. Now the Titans have prioritized the pass rush and built their secondary through the draft.

Adding Brisker to a group including Kristian Fulton, Caleb Farley, Elijah Molden, and Kevin Byard could give the Titans the foundation for this secondary to be great once again. This secondary would also get a boost from Bud Dupree, Harold Landry, Jeffrey Simmons, and Denico Autry rushing the passer as well. Tennessee needs to add Brisker to this defense that features a lot of talented young players.
