2022 NFL Mock Draft: Edge Rushers Fly Off The Board, 3 QBs In Round 1
By Evan Bachman
29. Baltimore Ravens: Darian Kinnard, OT, Kentucky
With Lamar Jackson as the signal caller the Ravens are already a very good team and the future is bright for them. Protecting Jackson should be their biggest priority for them moving forward, so offensive tackle makes sense for them in this 2022 NFL mock draft.
Darian Kinnard has been very impressive over his three seasons at Kentucky as he’s recorded a grade of 87+ each season, which is remarkable considering it’s in the SEC. Kinnard is very good in both run blocking and pass protection, which is a good fit in a Ravens offense that runs the ball more most teams.
30. Green Bay Packers: Treylon Burks, WR, Arkansas
With Davante Adams being a free agent next offseason along with Equanimeous St. Brown, Allen Lazard, and Marquez Valdes-Scantling, the Packers could find themselves with a big need for pass catchers.
Treylon Burks checks a lot of the boxes of a first round receiver. He’s very smart and is good at finding holes in the defense and also changes his pace well when running his routes. He’s also very good in contested catch situations as he’s 6-foot-3 with good hands and body control. Burks has recorded 1,100 yards and eleven touchdowns this season, building a very convincing case for him to be a first round pick and he is in this 2022 NFL mock draft.
