9. Washington Football Team: Malik Willis, QB, Liberty

It’s hard to peg what the Washington Football Team could do in this 2022 NFL Mock Draft, as they could address the quarterback position via trade rather than the 2022 NFL Draft.

If they do, Malik Willis would be an intriguing option. The NFL clearly loves his skill set, most notably his live arm and power as a runner. The traits are worth taking a chance on, and if his processing speed and patience in the pocket improve, the ceiling is high.

10. Miami Dolphins (via SF): Charles Cross, OT, Mississippi State

It’s hard to imagine the Dolphins going any direction other than offensive line in the 2022 NFL Draft, especially if they’re committing to Tua Tagovailoa and building the unit around taking some deep shots in the passing game.

Charles Cross has taken a big step at tackle this season, and improved upon his ability to anchor against more powerful rushers. He’s a phenomenal athlete at the position to mirror rushers and get out in front on runs to the perimeter.

11. Philadelphia Eagles: Andrew Booth Jr., CB, Clemson

The Philadelphia Eagles are back up in this 2022 NFL Mock Draft, and it’s time to address the secondary. Getting another corner opposite Darius Slay is a big time priority for this team.

Andrew Booth Jr. can make a play for CB1 in this class. He’s got incredible ball skills and looks like an elite receiver attacking the catch point. His processing is very good, and he’s fantastic flying downhill to make tackles near the line of scrimmage.

12. Atlanta Falcons: George Karlaftis, EDGE, Purdue

The Atlanta Falcons were playing better until they hit the buzzsaw that is the Cowboys, but they need more help on the defensive side of the ball, particularly on the edge.

In this 2022 NFL Mock Draft, George Karlaftis falls right to them. Karlaftis had an uber-productive freshman season, and is playing well once again in 2021. He’s commanding double and triple teams because of his prowess to trim the edge and his athleticism to close quickly on the quarterback. He would be a force on that defensive line with Grady Jarrett.
