17. Atlanta Falcons: Malik Willis, QB, Liberty

The Falcons have looked better in recent weeks, and they’re finally finding a rhythm under Arthur Smith. So why a quarterback for them in this 2022 NFL Mock Draft? It’s reasonable to believe Smith wants a younger core, and Willis gives them that. He can sit for a couple seasons and learn the ropes if necessary, and the upside is tremendous.

18. Pittsburgh Steelers: Sam Howell, QB, North Carolina

The Steelers are another team who could end up with a veteran quarterback rather than drafting one, but right now, the draft makes sense if you land a talent like Sam Howell in the middle of the round. Howell has bounced back well from his opening weekend stumble, and has the arm talent, toughness, and deep ball accuracy to bring explosive plays back into the offense,

19. Minnesota Vikings: Kaiir Elam, CB, Florida

Another popular pairing, this 2022 NFL Mock Draft has the Vikings looking corner early once again. Kaiir Elam is every bit the talent as the two corners who are off the board, as his size, fluid hips, and disruptive nature at the catch point are an impressive skill set. It would be welcomed in Minnesota.

20. Cleveland Browns: Treylon Burks, WR, Arkansas

The Browns end the wide receiver drought in this 2022 NFL Mock Draft, as it might be time to get younger at the position. Moving on from Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry would give a player like Treylon Burks a chance to shine in Cleveland. Burks is a special blend of size, speed, and body control. He can affect the game at every level of the defense with those skills as he learns how to refine his technique as a route runner.
