32. Arizona Cardinals: Jahan Dotson, Wide Receiver, Penn State

The Arizona Cardinals are the last undefeated team in the NFL. Similar to last season when Kyler Murray is healthy the Cardinals are a real threat in the NFC. They made some great additions on both sides of the ball including former Pro Bowlers J.J. Watt, A.J. Green, James Conner, and Rodney Hudson. They also drafted another deep threat for Kyler Murray in Rondale Moore. This team looks like it has what it takes to end the second-longest playoff drought in the NFL.

Unfortunately, Arizona will have a few major free agents this offseason including Chandler Jones, A.J. Green, Christian Kirk, Chase Edmonds, and James Cooner. They may opt to retaining Jones and signing Edmonds to a reasonable deal. This leaves avoid in Arizona for their number three and four receivers. Over the last couple of seasons, Arizona has not been shy about drafting a wide receiver early in the past couple of drafts. They have spent (or traded) a Day 2 pick for a wide receiver in each of the past five drafts.

If Arizona finishes late in the year and has a late draft pick they could take a wide receiver late in the first round instead of Day 2. Penn State wide receiver Jahan Dotson would be so fun to watch in this offense, and that’s the pick to round out this 2022 NFL Mock Draft. He is similar to Rondale Moore in that he is a smaller receiver who is great on screens and could stretch the field.

The receiver trio of DeAndre Hopkins, Rondale Moore, and Jahan Dotson would be so explosive with Kyler Murray throwing them the ball and could keep Arizona in the playoff picture for the next couple of seasons.
