It is getting close to the midway point of both the College Football and NFL seasons. As both seasons continue 2022 NFL Draft picture becomes more clear. The nation’s top prospects are becoming household names and are solidifying their status as the top of this year’s class. Multiple prospects are already emerging as potential first-round picks showing how deep this draft class could be. It feels like the perfect time for a 2022 NFL Mock Draft.

While that is happening the 2022 NFL Draft order is slowly forming. There is a lot of season left to be played so it’ll be extremely interesting to monitor how this order will change the rest of the year. It only takes a couple of wins or losses to drastically change where a team could be selecting come this April.

This time of year is great to be to see which prospects could fit with which teams. This could be determined by scheme fit, obvious needs on a roster, and also looking ahead at impending free agents that a team could lose during the offseason. Associating college players with NFL teams this early in the season is a great way to learn more about a player and expose a potential need of a team.

The teams are listed in order of Tankathon‘s protected draft order based on current team records and strength of schedule. For those who aren’t aware, the strength of schedule is the winning percentage of the opponents a team has faced. If two teams have the same record the higher draft pick is awarded to the team with the lower strength of schedule. Here is a brand new 2022 mock draft.
