The Green Bay Packers will be in focus in the 2022 offseason, but probably not for the reasons they would otherwise want to be.
What does the future of Aaron Rodgers hold beyond this season?
For right now, things have been pushed to the side. Rodgers reported for duty, restructured his contract, and it seems like he and the Packers could be headed for a divorce at the end of the year, but we’ll see if winning can cure all.
From Rodgers’ perspective, this could be the Last Dance. Heck, it could be for Davante Adams as well.
The Packers drafted Rodgers’ replacement and Rodgers has been very outspoken about the Packers putting their money where their mouth is by playing Jordan Love. He wants to dictate his exit from the team, and frankly, Rodgers has earned the right to do that.
Again, there are too many moving parts here to speak definitively. The Packers, in this mock draft scenario, go after some offensive tackle help with North Carolina State’s Ikem Ekwonu.
