Brian Robinson, RB, Alabama

Alabam running back Brian Robinson had the best game of his career against Ole Miss on Saturday. On the day he rushed for 171 yards which is the first time he had over 100 yards rushing in a game. He was also able to account for four rushing touchdowns which is a career-high as well.

What was most impressive about Robinson’s performance was the power he ran with. On numerous occasions, he dragged tacklers with him while picking up extra yards. Overall on the day, he forced 11 miss tackles which was the second-highest number in college football last weekend according to Pro Football Focus.

One area Robinson does need to improve on though is his production in the passing game. Over the first four games of the season he has only accounted for four receptions and in 2019 only had six receptions.

When projecting where Robinso will go in the 2022 NFL he will likely be a day three pick. This is due to him be somewhat of a one-dimensional player and lacking the great physical tools to overcome this deficiency. With that being said it would not be a surprise if Robinson established himself as a very good number two back in the NFL.
