Other 2022 NFL Draft Prospects

Being two Big Ten powers of late, the Minnesota Golden Gophers and Ohio State Buckeyes have more than a few to watch. This will be a loaded game. Who else should we be paying attention to?

Mohamed Ibrahim is a fun running back with great movement skills, good vision on zone concepts, and good burst to match in open space. He’s a zone runner through and through and made the initial running back rankings here at Mocks.

Nicholas Petit-Frère briefly thought about last year’s draft, but sticks around this year to work on his game. He’s very good in pass protection and could rise in what is a tackle class looking for that breakout player.

Boye Mafe was a draft Twitter summer favorite, and he could put up as ridiculous of combine numbers as his numbers in the weight room. Building consistency this year as a rusher will be huge for him.

Jeremy Ruckert is a top tight end prospect for some, but he’s got some work to do before the 2022 NFL Draft. He could be in line for more targets this year, having done the most with last year’s targets, but he lacks the athleticism of some of the top guys and needs to work as a blocker. This season is important for him.
