4. Matt Campbell will leave Iowa State after the season and become Michigan’s next football coach

There have been rumors about Matt Campbell leaving Iowa State the past couple of years, but after the 2021 season, we might actually see Campbell leave town. The main reason for this is the uncertainty of the Big 12. The conference loses its top teams in Texas and Oklahoma who will be joining the SEC, which will hurt Iowa State in terms of the money the school will get from the conference.

A team that would be a good fit for Campbell is Michigan. Campbell would fit in well in Ann Arbor since he has been a midwestern guy all of his life. He has also established some great connections with high school coaches in the area. In addition to these two things, Campbell would bring the toughness and discipline the Wolverines desperately need.

5. The quarterback who comes out of nowhere this season is Jayden Daniels

Going into the season to say Jayden Daniels is not highly regarded is an understatement. He was recently ranked as the 72nd best quarterback by Pro Football Focus and is widely regarded as a late-day-three draft pick by other media members. However, Daniels has the arm strength, mobility, and decision-making skills to be a day two pick if he has a year like he did in 2019.

6. North Carolina wins the ACC

The ACC will have a new conference champion this year for the first time in seven years as the Tar Heels will take the crown this year. North Carolina is led by one of the best offenses in college football having averaged over 500 yards a game and 41 points a game last year. If the defense can create more turnovers this year and Sam Howell lives up to expectations it would not be a shock if UNC competes for a national championship along with winning the ACC.
