2. Washington Football Team

The Washington Football Team made a quick move in free agency to get Ryan Fitzpatrick, a journeyman who has become a fan favorite, no matter which team you root for.

Maybe that’s because he’s played for nearly half the league at this point.

Fitzpatrick is a lot of fun, and frankly, there are a lot of similarities between he and Drew Lock when it comes to being a little reckless with the football.

Fitzpatrick would be a great player for Drew Lock to learn from, and Washington right now doesn’t have any quarterback options for the future.

They whiffed on a 2019 NFL Draft prospect when they drafted Dwayne Haskins, who is now with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Why not give Drew Lock a shot?

Washington has assembled an awesome defense and they have some up-and-coming weapons on offense at the skill positions. It could be a great situation for a quarterback to step into in 2021 and Lock would be a tremendous investment for the price to potentially be the bridge to someone else by 2023 or maybe even prove to be the long-term option in DC.
