The one area of the roster that remains unchanged? Derek Carr as QB1.
The team traded away Khalil Mack and has not been able to find any consistent pass rush presence since, though Maxx Crosby appears to be a heck of a find and is on his way to being that guy for the Raiders.
At the quarterback position, it feels like the Raiders just can’t convince themselves to “quit” Derek Carr, and it’s understandable given the fact that Carr is a good player.

Malik Willis has as high of a ceiling as any quarterback in the 2022 NFL Draft class at this point, and he showcased his full arsenal of talents last season at Liberty.
The former Auburn transfer established himself as arguably the best dual-threat in all of college football at the quarterback position, and if he can continue to make strides from the pocket, he’s going to have a bright NFL future, no question.
