2022 NFL Draft: Sam Howell on top of NFL preseason mock draft
The Buffalo Bills have one of the most well-rounded rosters in the entire NFL.
Although they have talent at the running back position, they probably don’t currently have anyone quite as talented as Breece Hall in their stable.
Hall was outstanding last season with 5.6 yards per carry, 21 rushing touchdowns, and another pair of receiving touchdowns.
He was good enough to make Minnesota Vikings’ fourth-round pick Kene Nwangwu basically an afterthought in the Iowa State offense.
There are not many teams that can afford to invest a first-round pick in the running back position. The Bills are so talented from the top to the bottom of this roster that it’s probably a luxury they could easily afford.
Especially for a dynamic talent like Hall, it would be worth the price here at the bottom of round one.

We’ll have to see what the 2021 season brings for quarterback Josh Allen. There is no question that he was the most improved player in the NFL last season, at least at quarterback, and only time will tell if that improvement really holds where it is.
Allen went from being one of the worst QBs in the league statistically to being an MVP candidate seemingly overnight.
If he can maintain that level of play in 2021, and the Bills somehow don’t win the Super Bowl, a player like Breece Hall could be the final missing piece.
