The Washington Huskies program has been putting some really solid defensive backs into the NFL in recent years, and Trent McDuffie might be the best of them all.
He has played only 16 games for the Huskies, but he has proven himself to be a dominant CB1 when he’s healthy and able to be on the field.

This guy is a ridiculous athlete with tremendous traits at the cornerback position.
In 16 games, he has picked off a pair of passes, forced three fumbles, recovered two of them, and racked up 59 total tackles.
Right now, there’s not a ton of love for McDuffie among national pundits, but that will soon change.
The third-team All-American, in this projection, would be joining Robert Saleh’s defense and that is a situation I think he — along with many defensive backs — would thrive in.
