2022 NFL Draft: Sam Howell on top of NFL preseason mock draft
The Dallas Cowboys were obviously embarrassed by the way they played defense in the 2020 season.
Not only did they bring in Dan Quinn to hopefully right the ship from the coaching perspective, but they also overhauled that side of the ball in terms of player personnel.
The Cowboys didn’t make too many big moves in free agency outside of their own roster, but they did bring in former first-round pick Keanu Neal to help transition to Quinn’s defense, and they also spent the majority of their 2021 NFL Draft class on defense.
Micah Parsons will play a versatile role for the Cowboys in 2021, including coming off the edge some, but this team undoubtedly needs more help on the defensive line in general.
Kingsley Enagbare is a fascinating study and someone who would be a really intriguing pickup for the Dallas Cowboys in 2022.
Right now, he’s not a finished product, but you could see the signs of his progression with 23 pressures and seven sacks last season.
At 6-foot-4, 270 pounds, Enagbare is perfectly designed to play the defensive end position in Quinn’s defense. If he was leaning mostly on physical tools in the 2020 season, the sky is the limit for him as he puts in more work as a student off the field.
