2022 NFL Draft: 10 players to watch in college football
By Ryan McCrary
8. Garrett Wilson, Wide Receiver, Ohio State
Garrett Wilson is the other Ohio State receiver who is expected to be drafted in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft. Chris Olave has been more productive over the last two seasons, but some people, including PFF, believe Wilson is the better prospect.
As a sophomore last season, Wilson caught 43 passes for 723 yards and 6 touchdowns. He even averaged more yards per reception than his teammate, Olave. His combination of athleticism, route running, and ball skills make him an intriguing prospect.
Wilson is 21 years old and will turn 22 a few months before the 2022-2023 NFL season. He may be the first Ohio State receiver selected in the 2022 NFL Draft if he has a productive junior season and tests well at the combine.
