2022 NFL Draft: 10 players to watch in college football
By Ryan McCrary
10. Justyn Ross, Wide Receiver, Clemson
Justyn Ross has a chance to change his life this season. He missed the entire 2020 season due to a bulging disk in his spine, which tanked his draft stock.
At one point, he was universally expected to be a first-round pick, but that isn’t the case anymore. It’s no longer a guarantee that he’ll be picked on day one of the 2022 NFL Draft.
Nevertheless, Ross is an extremely talented wideout who pairs incredible size with great ball skills. Through his first two collegiate seasons, he caught 112 passes for 1,825 yards and 17 touchdowns.
As a true freshman in 2018, he dominated in the college football playoff, catching 12 passes for 301 yards and 3 touchdowns in two games as the Clemson Tigers won the national championship.
If Justyn Ross plays well in his first season returning from his back injury, he may very well be a first-round pick.
