The Texas A&M Aggies have a very talented roster heading into the 2021 season, and that includes a number of potential 2022 NFL Draft prospects. They have a stud on the offensive line in Kenyon Green (who will make the move to tackle in the fall), a versatile, explosive athlete in DeMarvin Leal, and a versatile playmaker in Ainias Smith. They also have a running back with big time potential as well in Isaiah Spiller.

Isaiah Spiller is among the top 2022 NFL Draft talents at the running back position.

Isaiah Spiller played at Klein Collins High School, where he earned District 15-6A Offensive MVP in back to back years (2017 and 2018). Spiller was also an Under Armour All-American and named a finalist for the Houston area UIL Offensive Player of the Year by the Houston Touchdown Club. In Spiller’s final season of high school, he rushed for 1,493 yards and 20 touchdowns before moving on to the Aggies.

Spiller has had a productive college career to this point as well. As a true freshman, Spiller rushed for 946 yards on 174 carries, and scored 10 touchdowns. He was named to the All-SEC Freshman Team in 2019. In 2020, Spiller rushed for 1,036 yards and nine touchdowns, and ended up a Doak Walker semifinalist, along with All-SEC First Team honors.

This season could be a big one for Spiller, as the departure of Kellen Mond means for little experience at quarterback. He could be handling a bigger load and be the focal point of the offense.

There’s a good chance that Isaiah Spiller declares for the 2022 NFL Draft, so let’s dive into his game in this summer scouting report!
