3. Atlanta Falcons

This destination is less likely than the first two, but the Atlanta Falcons are still a team that could probably use some help at receiver. After trading Julio Jones away to the Tennessee Titans, it’s clear that this organization isn’t above moving players to create a (potential) rebuild.

Calvin Ridley obviously is ready to step in and be the top guy (he’s an elite player and a top 10 WR in the league), due to his prowess as a route runner and his incredible footwork. Jones’ departure also opens things up for rookie Kyle Pitts to make an impact. Pitts will probably be moved all over the place to make an impact.

Yes, the Falcons do have some young guns ready to step up. Russell Gage is getting plenty of hype, and for good reason, as he’s been a good third option for a few years. Olamide Zaccheaus is another to watch, as is rookie Frank Darby.

All these guys are nice, but it’s worth taking a look at James Washington, especially for a (rumored) day three pick. Washington has more upside than any of the guys previously mentioned (not named Ridley and Pitts, obviously) and could keep the deep ball confidence in Atlanta.
