2022 NFL Draft: Aggies OL Kenyon Green the next great guard
The offensive line continues to be a major foundational building block for NFL teams, and the last couple of years have featured plenty of talent in the draft. While there might not be a group at the level of the past two drafts, there will still be very good talent in the 2022 NFL Draft.
The Texas A&M Aggies have a plethora of 2022 NFL Draft prospects to watch out for this fall. From DeMarvin Leal to Ainias Smith, as well as Isaiah Spiller, there will be players selected in the first two days of the draft. Guard Kenyon Green will definitely be joining them.
Aggies offensive lineman Kenyon Green could be the next great guard in the 2022 NFL Draft.
Green played football at Atascocita High School and started out as a defensive lineman. The coaching staff suggested a position change to the offensive line, and that’s what Green was recruited as. 247Sports rated Green as a five star prospect (number three tackle in the country and number one player in Texas), and he ended up choosing A&M over LSU.
Green moved from tackle to guard as a freshman in college, and was named top offensive newcomer and made the SEC All-Freshman Team. In 2020, Green ended up as a Outland semifinalist and was an FWAA first-team All American, and was named to the Outland watch list in 2021.
Kenyon Green will make his move to tackle this season for the Aggies, and we will cover that later in this report. But first, let’s dive into a scouting report for the 2022 NFL Draft and look at Green’s game!
