2022 NFL Mock Draft: QBs go 1-2, Defense Dominates Top 10
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers put it all together for an incredible playoff run, winning the Super Bowl in easy fashion over the Kansas City Chiefs 31-9. To make it even better, they will be returning every starter from last season and should be the favorites to win back-to-back. Tom Brady will only be more comfortable in the system, and the young guns on defense will only get better.
Next offseason will require some decisions to be made with limited cap room. Ryan Jensen becomes a free agent, along with Chris Godwin. Also, the entire running back room minus Ke’Shawn Vaughn are set to become free agents, including Ronald Jones. Don’t forget about Antonio Brown and O.J. Howard. Tampa Bay would likely opt to keep Jensen and Godwin over any of the backs, and Howard off an injury will be interesting to monitor.
This makes things pretty easy for the Bucs at 31 here in this 2022 NFL Mock Draft. Isaiah Spiller has some RB1 steam because of his burst, change of direction skills, and contact balance, and he has the receiving skills to be an every down back in the offense. He could come in and contribute right away for the Buccaneers in 2022.
