10. 87. Pick Analysis. Offensive Tackle. UCLA. Scouting Report. Sean Rhyan. player

The Carolina Panthers were considered one of the bigger winners in the draft this past April, and it’s easy to see why. Jaycee Horn could become a lockdown corner quickly, Terrance Marshall reunites with Joe Brady, and Tommy Tremble could be a future star at tight end.

The Panthers big move in the offseason before the draft was trading for quarterback Sam Darnold. Head coach Matt Rhule and Brady clearly believe Darnold has the ability to be a starter, and this QB-friendly offense could be the ticket.

The real question with this young team is the left tackle position. Cam Erving has the starting spot right now, but he’s bounced around the league for a reason. Greg Little hasn’t been able to secure the job, and Brady Christensen might be better suited as a guard.

The 2022 NFL Draft might not have the talent of the past two classes, but there’s a potential riser in the class who’s the pick here at 10. UCLA’s Sean Rhyan has the mentality and the upside to end up a first round selection. He has great footwork in pass protection, a good anchor, and resets his hands well. Not to mention, he gets after it in the run game. Rhyan would be a great fit for the Panthers.
