5 trade destinations for Miami Dolphins corner Xavien Howard
5. Seattle Seahawks
The Seattle Seahawks round out the list of teams that provide a good spot for Xavien Howard. Seattle is not afraid to make big moves, as they’ve traded for Jadeveon Clowney, Duane Brown, and Jamal Adams in the past. They’ve also moved players to reacquire draft capital, and remain one of the most active teams on the trade market.
Seattle still remains a contender in the NFC because of Russell Wilson, a great stable of weapons, and an improving offensive line since acquiring Brown. Damien Lewis had a solid rookie campaign and should only improve to help things out up front, and Gabe Jackson will help out the interior as well.
The Seahawks don’t have their first round pick in 2022, but could move a couple second round selections or their first round pick in 2023 to get Xavien Howard. Ahkello Witherspoon and D.J. Reed are the current starter, so improvement is very possible. The secondary would get a major improvement with a player who can create turnovers.
Seattle would, as other teams on the list here, need to rework Howard’s deal to get under the cap in 2021, but could push things to 2022, where they have a lot of room to work with. Adding Howard could tip the scales in the NFC West.
