4. Kansas City Chiefs

There might not be a better destination for Xavien Howard than the Kansas City Chiefs. Every variable matches up here for the Miami Dolphins to get a deal done, and this is likely the favorite landing spot.

The Chiefs are at the top of the AFC, and the window to win a Super Bowl, while large, could get tougher with the ascent of young quarterbacks in the conference. It’s not easy to reach the title game, so adding a player like Howard would be huge.

The offensive line was completely revamped in the offseason after their loss to the Buccaneers, as the Chiefs drafted Creed Humphrey and Trey Smith, signed Joe Thuney and Kyle Long, and traded for Orlando Brown Jr. This looks like a team ready to add any piece possible to win a championship.

The corner room is really the one weakness for the Chiefs right now, as L’Jarius Sneed and Charvarius Ward are the current starters. The depth is dangerously low, and moving a first round pick for a player of Howard’s caliber seems like a no-brainer. Getting someone who creates turnovers could put this team back over the top. Miami should get on the phone now with the Chiefs and make a deal.
