2. Dallas Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys are definitely a team that should be interested in adding Xavien Howard. The expectations are high in 2021 for what should be a high-flying offense lead by Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott, Amari Cooper, and second-year stud CeeDee Lamb. The offensive line is back and healthy, and the hope is Prescott is as well.

The defense still has plenty of questions. Dallas opted to select Micah Parsons after missing out on the top two corners in the draft, but then selected three throughout the weekend. The expectations is a step up from Trevon Diggs, and that Kelvin Joseph can develop with the physical gifts he possesses.

However, Howard would be a significant upgrade for the Cowboys right now. His production would give Dallas the opportunity to give a potent offense good field position and relieve a defense that’s likely to get gassed at points this season. Getting Howard and Diggs to produce at the catch point as a duo would be too great to pass up.

The issue with Dallas right now is their cap situation, which isn’t great the next two offseasons. Major work would be needed, but it might be worth it to open up a winning window for the franchise.
