Zay Flowers has incredible potential and could be the player that has the biggest rise in the 2021 season and for the 2022 NFL Draft. His ability to create separation is impressive, he has a very good release game, and he’s a dynamic threat deep down the field and with the ball in his hands. He flashes some good ball skills and tracks it well over the shoulder.

Obviously, size and handling physicality will be the knocks right now, but his prowess as a route runner and a technician should give analysts some hope that he can iron out issues against bigger and stronger defenders. More consistent hands-catching will go a long way as well.

Flowers has big match ups this fall on the schedule. He will draw Andrew Booth, Garrett Williams, and the duo of Akayleb Evans and Allie Green IV. How he fares against these guys will be interesting to watch.

As the season draws closer, and rankings come out, don’t be surprised to see Flowers high on this writer’s rankings. His skill set is excellent and they translate very well to Sundays. Big things could be in store for the 2021 season, so jump on the bandwagon sooner than later.
