2022 NFL mock draft: Texans pass on QB in QB-heavy predictions
2022 NFL mock draft: 14th pick
I guess time really flies when you’re having fun. It feels like it was just yesterday we were talking about Adam Thielen being a breakout player for the Vikings, and projecting toward the 2022 NFL Draft, he will already be entering his age 32 season.
The Minnesota Vikings seemingly have bigger fish to fry at the moment than at the wide receiver position where Justin Jefferson just made a really strong case for a rookie of the year award in 2020.
With that said, Chris Olave would both be too good of a value to pass up on at this point and probably just too enticing to pair up with Justin Jefferson to pass, either.
Olave may not be on this same level exactly, but you get a hint of Jerry Jeudy when you watch him run routes.
Olave is pretty much always open.
I don’t know what the future holds for the Minnesota Vikings at the quarterback position, but the possibility of a receiver duo for the foreseeable future of Jefferson and Olave is very exciting.
Add in the other weapons Minnesota has in Dalvin Cook and Irv Smith Jr., and this would be one of the more dynamic young offensive core skill groups in the league if this selection comes to pass.
