Jalen Hurts QB/ Philadelphia Eagles ADP: 7.03

Nope.  Just don’t try and sell me Jalen Hurts as a better fantasy prospect than guys like Brady, Stafford, and Burrow.

This is the same guy that the Eagles wouldn’t publicly commit to as their starter this season.  Yes, he was exciting for his first couple of starts, but after that? Yikes.

His receiving core is still a work in progress, he isn’t a good enough runner to count on big numbers on the ground, and he still comes from that Alabama tree of QB’s and that alone is enough to give me significant pause.

His motion isn’t natural enough, he has a tendency to spray the ball all over the place, and his turnover numbers were concerning.  I can’t sit here and endorse this kind of player for fantasy football players.

I care too much about your lineups!

He is a QB2 who shouldn’t be taken until the 11th round right around the time Carson Wentz is going. Take Courtland Sutton, JuJu Smith-Schuster, or Mike Geiseki ahead of him and you will have done a good thing for your team.
