Fantasy football 2021: Kenny Golladay, New York Giants /

2) Kenny Golladay WR/ New York Giants ADP: 5.01

Finally, we are out of the sleeper territory and we are talking some stars here!

Kenny Golladay is a big, fast, and physical receiver, who has put up monster numbers with the Detroit Lions over the last few years.  However, he signed with the Giants this offseason and attached his name to the arm of Daniel Jones.

Unfortunately for receivers, their play is directly impacted by the guy throwing them the ball (see DeAndre Hopkins one disastrous year with Brock Osweiler). Daniel Jones isn’t awful, but he certainly isn’t good.

You can see that the Giants’ front office is using this year to see whether this guy is a franchise QB or a bust and surrounding him with talent is a good way to do that, but it might just hurt us fantasy guys for a season while it happens.

At the 5.01 that is a clear WR investment, or if you went RB heavy, then this is your top receiver for the fantasy football season.

Save yourself the aggravation, draft guys like Mark Andrews, Diontae Johnson, and Robert Woods ahead of him.  This is a WR2 year at best for Kenny, and that’s only because his talent is enough to carry him there.
