THE ELEVENTH ROUND?!

That is insane to me that people are letting Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase fall that far in their fantasy football drafts. Simply astounding.  Chase is reunited with his college QB Joe Burrow, and let’s not forget, this man made Justin Jefferson, last season’s rookie phenom, a forgettable presence on the LSU national championship team.

Standing at 6-feet, 208 pounds, and with a 4.38 40 time, Chase is built for this. Not to mention the man runs routes that make football look like art. His cuts are so smooth and his breaks are so sharp even the most seasoned defensive back is going to struggle to stop him from putting them in the spin cycle.

His weakness is going to be a lack of experience and maybe getting back into football shape from his year off, but Chase profiles to me as a top 25 WR with the upside to be this year’s Justin Jefferson.

1,200 yards isn’t undoable for him, nor would be at least 6 touchdowns. Draft him with confidence and let the people who took guys like Jerry Jeudy, John Brown, and Marvin Jones sit with their shame.
