2022 NFL mock draft: 26th pick

26. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. OT. Penn State. Rasheed Walker. 49

This 2022 NFL mock draft scenario is obviously assuming the Green Bay Packers keep Aaron Rodgers, because they probably aren’t going to be picking 26th with Jordan Love or someone else as the starting quarterback next season.

It’s hard to believe the Aaron Rodgers era in Green Bay could be coming to an end. I can still remember listening to a fantasy football sports radio show early on in Rodgers’ career touting his red zone passing as a reason he was a sleeper fantasy pick back in the 2009 offseason.

Rodgers has dug his heels in with the Packers and has stated he has no beef with the coaching staff, Jordan Love, his other teammates, or the city of Green Bay. His beef is obviously with general manager Brian Gutekunst, who has kept the league MVP in the dark on important decisions that obviously have an effect on Rodgers’ ability to win another title late in his career.

The Packers have used one first-round pick on offense in the last 10 draft classes, and that was quarterback Jordan Love.

If the Packers do find a way to work it out with Rodgers they are going to probably need to do some more reloading on the offensive line in 2022 and Walker has made 22 starts at the left tackle position for Penn State and has quietly done some tremendous work out there.

He’s 6-foot-6, 312 pounds, and has plenty of room to keep getting better. He could wind up starting out his NFL career at right tackle if he lands with the Packers.
