2022 NFL mock draft: Spencer Rattler leads fascinating QB class
2022 NFL mock draft: 23rd pick
The Tennessee Titans may be the team that trades for Julio Jones when that is all said and done, but for the time being, they have a pretty gaping hole at the wide receiver position.
AJ Brown is one of the best and exciting young players at receiver in the NFL today, but he’s been paired — for the time being — with Josh Reynolds after the departure of Corey Davis in free agency.
The Titans did move up in round four for Louisville receiver Dez Fitzpatrick, but help is still needed.
Enter Arkansas wide receiver Treylon Burks, one of the best-kept secrets in the country (if you can still call him that).
Burks caught 51 passes last season for 821 yards (16.1 yards per catch) and seven touchdowns. He showed outstanding body control, catch radius, and after-the-catch dominance.
Burks, like AJ Brown, shows tremendous strength in his lower half and slips through arm tackles like defenders are barely there.
His mentality after the catch is what’s more exciting than anything else. This guy craves YAC, it’s not just that he’s good at it.
Arkansas used him on the outside, as a big slot, out of the backfield, and any way they could in order to get him the ball.
