2022 NFL mock draft: Spencer Rattler leads fascinating QB class
2022 NFL mock draft: 20th pick
After taking Sam Howell with their first pick in this mock draft, the Eagles turn their attention to the defensive side of the ball.
Obviously, the draft order predicts the Indianapolis Colts to make the playoffs with Carson Wentz, which would give the Eagles three first-round selections in the 2022 NFL Draft and a chance to really replenish their roster.
There’s no better way to do that than by attacking the premium positions, and defensively, a good edge is extremely valuable.

At the NFL talent factory that is Ohio State, Zach Harrison appears to be the next great edge to come out of the Buckeyes’ program.
He’s not receiving the same kind of preseason hype that the Bosa brothers or other Chase Young received, but there’s no doubt that the former five-star is ready to carry the first-round mantle.
He has played 17 games for the Buckeyes and up to this point has tallied 10 tackles for loss and 5.5 sacks but he’s brimming with potential.
Not many 6-foot-6, 265-pound defensive ends can bend around the edge like Harison.
