2022 NFL mock draft: Spencer Rattler leads fascinating QB class
2022 NFL mock draft: 16th pick
The Denver Broncos picked up Von Miller’s 2021 contract option and they hope to keep him a Bronco for life. We’ll see how that works out after this season, but the Broncos could be in the market for a pass rusher to pair up with Bradley Chubb, whom new general manager George Paton has called a core piece of the team.
The analytics people really love Oklahoma’s star pass rusher Nik Bonitto:

Bonitto had 11.5 tackles for loss and 9.0 sacks in 10 games last season along with two passes defensed. He is listed at nearly the exact same size as Von Miller at 6-foot-3, 238 pounds, and would obviously be selected here as an heir apparent to one of the greatest players in Denver Broncos franchise history.
The Broncos invested a lot in their secondary in the 2021 offseason, including free agent pickups Ronald Darby and Kyle Fuller along with top draft pick Pat Surtain II.
The best way to make a secondary look good? Have guys who can get to the quarterback quickly.
Bonitto has a chance to really put himself on the map in 2021 as a pass rusher if he can build on his stellar 2020 numbers.
