The running back position for the Green Bay Packers isn’t one that had a serious need, especially with Aaron Jones back and A.J. Dillon showing some promise in his limited carries in 2020. However, the departure of Jamaal Williams in free agency left an opening on third downs.

Kylin Hill was thought to bring more value than a seventh-round selection, and he’s a steal at this point for the Packers. He can make defenders miss in a phone booth and in space, and brings value as a pass catcher and in pass protection. Hill could make an impact in year one in this offense, and he’s a favorite pick of many analysts.

Final Thoughts

The Green Bay Packers did a solid job navigating the 2021 NFL Draft and did a good job investing in needs while also searching for value. The Stokes pick might’ve been a bit of a reach on day one, but they knocked it out of the park on day two. Day three selections Jean-Charles and Hill can make an impact year one, along with Myers and Rodgers.
