It’s been a tough couple of decades for the Dallas Cowboys and their faithful fans. This franchise dominated in the early 1990s with three Super Bowl victories, but since Super Bowl XXX, the Cowboys are 4-10 in postseason play with only two playoff wins in the last 10 years.
The 2021 offseason has been somewhat of a fork in the road for the Dallas Cowboys as a franchise. In fact, it’s been a pretty significant one. Since quarterback Dak Prescott Wally Pipp’ed Tony Romo in 2016, the Cowboys have probably played some of their best football in recent memory.
Things reached a peak in 2018 when the Cowboys won a playoff game, their first since the 2014 season, and they’re now in year three of trying to really recapture that momentum. Dak Prescott’s injury in 2020 was terrifying, and Dallas’ defense was as bad as it’s been in quite some time.
