Denver Broncos 2021 NFL Draft: 6th and 7th round picks

6 (219): Seth Williams, WR, Auburn

The Denver Broncos have a handful of wide receivers whose contracts are up after this season. Seth Williams was not consistent (neither was his QB play) but he has big-play potential and offers the Denver Broncos a big-bodied, athletic receiver prospect worth developing.

He can contribute right away on special teams as well.

Grade: B

7 (237): Kary Vincent Jr., CB, LSU

The nickel cornerback position is traditionally undervalued by NFL teams in the NFL Draft, and Kary Vincent Jr. is one of the latest victims of that. In addition to opting out of the 2020 season, Vincent is undersized at the cornerback position.

With all of that being said, he plays with instincts and has a chance to stick as a future number one nickel corner.

Grade: B

7 (239): Jonathon Cooper, EDGE, Ohio State

Jonathon Cooper was thought to be a top 120-130 player in this draft by some, and while he had to wait for his chance at Ohio State behind Nick Bosa and Chase Young before getting hurt in 2019, he put some really good things on tape as a pass rusher in 2020.

A high-character player, Cooper could be a great value in the 7th round for the Broncos.

Grade: B+

7 (253): Marquiss Spencer, DL, Mississippi State

The Denver Broncos are taking the ‘dart throw’ approach here as Spencer has size, athleticism, and bursts of production but lacks consistency. He’s going to a good spot to develop and hone his craft with one of the league’s best defensive line coaches in Bill Kollar.
