The 2021 NFL Draft is complete but like any season, not all needs were fulfilled. In the grand scope of the draft, there wasn’t one team that had a glaringly awful outcome. Obviously, some teams did better than others, but there wasn’t a clear “loser” of the draft, not even the Seattle Seahawks who only had three selections.

Now that we’ve had a few days to take in everything that’s transpired over the last week, additional veteran moves are starting to surface as well. Perhaps most notably, Alejandro Villanueva signed with the Baltimore Ravens to fill the void left behind by the trade of Orlando Brown Jr. to the Kansas City Chiefs.

More moves like these are sure to come over the next few weeks, but in the meantime, franchises are scurrying to find solutions to their remaining roster problems. The solutions could come via a range of different approaches, including signing veterans, signing undrafted rookies or making trades.

As we saw during the draft, any high-profile names seem to be locked into their teams for the time being as the teams they play for are reluctant to begin any trade talks. With that being said, cap casualties caused by increased depth from the draft could open opportunities for teams still in need of help.

While there are plenty of needs still across the league, these five are the most glaring and should be addressed sooner rather than later. Some can be solved before the season begins while others might have to be put off until next season. Either way, the front offices of these franchises need to start planning a way to fill these holes in the near future.
