Pick Analysis. CB. Thomas Graham Jr.. 6. 57. Scouting Report. Oregon. player

Grade: A

Arguably their best value of Day-3, the Chicago Bears landed former Oregon cornerback Thomas Graham Jr. with the 228th pick of the 2021 NFL Draft. Graham was a magnet to the football with the Ducks, breaking up 32 passes and coming down with eight interceptions.

He plays bigger than he is, as he likes to mix it up in man coverage. With the departure of Buster Skrine this offseason, Graham Jr. has a chance to join the competition between Duke Shelley and Kindle Vildor for that open spot in the slot. I really like this addition for Chicago.

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. BYU. Khyiris Tonga. DT. 7. player. 57

Grade: B-

With the Chicago Bears’ final pick of the 2021 NFL Draft, the Chicago Bears took former BYU nose tackle, Khyiris Tonga. One of the older prospects in the entire class, Tonga had a productive career with the Cougars, proving to be a stout run-stuffer that can provide the occasional inside pressure. He had 16 tackles for a loss and 8.5 sacks in his career, but his most impressive stat was his 12 pass deflections.

That ability to get his hand up in underneath passing lanes is important for a player that won’t get after the passer with consistency at the next level. Tonga is a solid way to round out the Chicago Bears 2021 NFL Draft class.
