Pittsburgh Steelers: 7-round mock draft after landing Najee Harris at 24

Round 6 Pick 216: KJ Britt LB Auburn
KJ Britt is the sixth-round selection for the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2021 NFL Draft. Britt is kind of an old fashion type linebacker where is a prototypical backer who fills gaps and pressures up the middle. KJ Britt has a high motor but needs some improvement when it comes to pass coverage. This is not an immediate need for the Pittsburgh Steelers for they have a lot of depth at the linebacker position but could be used in special teams and future development.
Round 7 Pick 245: John Bates TE Boise State
With the 245th pick in the seventh round, the Pittsburgh Steelers select John Bates. Bates could come in and be a nice addition as a secondary tight end alongside Eric Ebron. Bates really did not show much production in his last season at Boise State, but really raised some eyes at this year’s Senior Bowl. Bates showed his ability to catch the football at the highest point and showed he can hold his own when it comes to blocking. Bates would be a nice addition to add some depth at the tight end position for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Round 7 Pick 254: Anthony Schwartz WR Auburn
With their last pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers select Anthony Schwartz. Schwartz is a track star on the field showing explosiveness down the field with track speed. The routes could be more defined and need some work in his catching abilities could be a nice project in the seventh round. The wide receiver depth of the Steelers is one of their strongest position, although Schwartz could be a great special teamer with the ability to absolutely burn people down the field.
