2021 NFL mock draft: Round 6, 204th Overall

Jacoby Stevens. 4. 817. Pick Analysis. SS. LSU. Scouting Report. player

Barring another trade-up, the Chicago Bears will have to wait 120 picks after their third-round selection before they’re on the clock again. After a long wait, I have the Chicago Bears adding an intriguing safety prospect out of LSU, Jacoby Stevens.

After beginning his career as a WR, Stevens made the switch to safety as a sophomore and was productive for the Tigers. He had 21.5 tackles for a loss and four interceptions in three seasons at the position. He would give the Chicago Bears a physical box safety option with a lot of upside.

2021 NFL mock draft: Round 6, 208th Overall

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. CB. 5. player. 815. Oklahoma. Tre Brown

Just four picks after nabbing a safety, I have the Chicago Bears adding more competition to their secondary with the selection of cornerback Tre Brown out of Oklahoma. Although a little undersized, Brown is a competitive player with good speed and quick-twitch ability on the outside. He will likely have to slide into the slot to survive in the NFL but he can help out on the boundary in a pinch.

2021 NFL mock draft: Round 6, 221st Overall

Scouting Report. Edge. 6. player. 804. Pick Analysis. FSU. Joshua Kaindoh

Although his career was marred by injuries at Florida State, Joshua Kaindoh has a lot of intriguing physical tools that make him worth a look with one of the four sixth-round picks the Chicago Bears currently hold. Kaindoh was a huge recruit coming out of high school but just couldn’t stay healthy with the Seminoles. If he can get overcome those durability concerns, he would be an interesting developmental option to add to the Chicago Bears edge unit.

851. Pick Analysis. DT. Texas. Ta'Quon Graham. player. Scouting Report. 7

With the final pick of this seven-round 2021 mock draft, I have the Chicago Bears adding some depth to the interior of their defensive line with the selection of Ta’Quon Graham out of Texas. Graham is a powerful player that does well to create interior pressure, as proven by his 17.5 tackles for a loss over his last two season with the Longhorns. Graham joins a pretty thin group at defensive tackle with an opportunity to carve out a role with the Chicago Bears.
