The Green Bay Packers have an offensive line that is currently in flux right now. After Linsley’s departure, there remains a hole that needs to be filled at center. It’s possible that things are addressed in-house, whether it be with last year’s pick Jake Hanson, moving Elgton Jenkins over, or maybe handing the keys to Lucas Patrick.

There will be ripple effects no matter the move. Right now, the right side of the line includes some group of Patrick, Jon Runyan, and Billy Turner. It’s hard to imagine Gutekunst stands pat with that group, especially in a deep 2021 class on the offensive line.

Right tackle is a position the Packers would value and would address early. There’s a small chance that Teven Jenkins falls there, but a player like Samuel Cosmi makes a ton of sense at 29 if available. Cosmi is an elite athlete, something the Packers value, and could come in and start on the right side right away. He’s got the lateral movement skills in pass protection, and the flexibility to mirror rushers and stay in front.

Cosmi has the movement skills to excel in the run game, and he’d be a fit in LaFleur’s offense. He has to be the favorite, especially at tackle, if he’s available at 29.
