2021 NFL mock draft: Round 1, 23rd overall

player. 30. . EDGE. New York Jets. Jayson Oweh. 23

The New York Jets will find a new franchise quarterback at No. 2 overall but this team still has plenty of other needs. Edge rusher stands out among those needs and they could easily address the position with their second first-round pick.

Jayson Oweh struggled to put up consistent production in college but he is clearly an extremely gifted player on the edge. Oweh displays an explosive first step and incredible flexibility around the corner. He is an extremely athletic edge rusher who could grow into a premier defensive playmaker with some patience and proper development.

2021 NFL mock draft: Round 1, 24th overall

55. . RB. Pittsburgh Steelers. Najee Harris. 24. player

The Pittsburgh Steelers appear to be zeroing in on running back prospect Najee Harris and if he is available at No. 24, it is difficult to see them going in another direction. It is fair to question taking any running back this early, but Harris is undoubtedly a gifted player who would help the Steelers.

2021 NFL mock draft: Round 1, 25th overall

52. . S. Jacksonville Jaguars. Trevon Moehrig. 25. player

Trevon Moehrig is an impressive safety prospect who shows a ton of natural upside in coverage. He is a smooth athlete who covers a lot of ground on the back-end and always seems to be in the right position to make a play. Moehrig shows high-level football IQ and attacks the ball in the air extremely well. He is the best safety prospect in this class and would undoubtedly be a strong addition to the Jaguars’ secondary.

2021 NFL mock draft: Round 1, 26th overall

53. . WR. Cleveland Browns. Rashod Bateman. 26. player

Wide receiver does not stand out as a major position of need for the Cleveland Browns. That being said, they could certainly use some depth at the spot and Rashod Bateman stands out as a strong value in this range. The Browns are a smart organization and they will not hesitate to snag Bateman here if they think that he is the best player available. Simply put, Bateman is a well-rounded playmaker who would undoubtedly help take their offensive attack to the next level.

2021 NFL mock draft: Round 1, 27th overall

. EDGE. Baltimore Ravens. Azeez Ojulari. 27. player. 26

Azeez Ojulari has a knee injury that popped up late in the process and it is clearly hurting his draft stock. That being said, he is still an extremely gifted edge rusher who undoubtedly has massive upside at the next level. The Baltimore Ravens always do a great job of finding value in the draft and snagging Ojulari this late would be another great example.

In Ojulari, the Ravens find themselves an explosive edge rusher who could come in and make an immediate impact at an important position of need for the team.
