Baltimore Ravens 2021 mock draft: Post-Orlando Brown trade projections
The Baltimore Ravens already selected a receiver in this mock draft, but there’s no reason to stop there. After adding an explosive threat in Wallace, finding a true “X” is more attainable right here. Illinois’ Josh Imatorbhebhe is a big, strong athletic specimen at the position. He can dominate at the catch point and can turn short receptions into long plays with his long speed after the catch.
The Ravens place importance on the tight end position, especially in their scheme, which helps Lamar Jackson thrive over the middle of the field. Mark Andrews has been a success, but getting another receiving threat for Jackson makes a ton of sense.
Noah Gray is more of a move tight end prospect, but he’s darn good at that. He’s got fluid movement skills, impressive run after the catch ability, and makes good adjustments to the football. He won’t succeed as a blocker, but his receiving ability will put teams on his radar.
Finishing up the mock draft is another pick in the secondary. While the boundary corner positions are set for now, and nickel looks strong, there will be openings after the 2021 season. Finding help at nickel could be a future plan type of pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
Deommodore Lenoir fits as a true nickel. He’s physical near the line of scrimmage and throughout the route and is a willing participator in the run game. Lenoir can be a developmental prospect with intriguing upside for the future secondary.
