Pick Analysis. Samuel Cosmi. 1. player. 26. Scouting Report. Offensive Tackle. Texas

Losing Brown certainly brings up the possibility of taking a tackle in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft. In a deep class, there’s a chance that a trade back occurs for the Baltimore Ravens at the end of the first round.

Instead, the Ravens stick here and select Texas tackle Samuel Cosmi. Cosmi is a very good pass protector. His foot quickness is impressive to mirror rushers, and he will have no issues leading the charge in space. His flexibility is also well-documented. Cosmi will need to work on firing out of his stance more to get in position, but he’s well-rounded and worthy of a first-round pick.

Pick Analysis. EDGE. Washington. Joe Tryon. 1. player. 26. Scouting Report

As mentioned earlier, both Matt Judon and Yannick Ngakoue moved on from the Ravens into free agency, leaving a hole at edge rusher. This class has no definite top guy, but a plethora of players worth taking a chance on somewhere on day two.

There’s been buzz building that the NFL is high on Washington rusher Joe Tryon, and he’s the pick here at 31. Tryon is an elite athlete who put up some very good numbers at his Pro Day and flashes some great ability as a pass rusher. He has good hand usage and a solid amount of variety for a young player.
