EDGE. Oklahoma. 2. player. Pick Analysis. Ronnie Perkins. 815. Scouting Report

Adding Owusu-Koramoah to the mix would certainly help, but the Raiders still have a ton of work to do on the defensive side of the ball. They go right back to the well in the second round of this NFL mock draft with the selection of edge rusher Ronnie Perkins.

Perkins is a tough and physical player who certainly fits the profile of the kind of player that the Las Vegas Raiders are looking for. Perkins shows an explosive first step up front, consistently plays with strong hands and shows tremendous natural instincts as a run defender.

In Perkins, the Raiders find a player who could come in and provide immediate value as an early-down run defender. His pass-rush upside is a bit limited but Perkins is a rock-solid player who would undoubtedly bring some stability to the Raiders’ defensive line.

3. Scouting Report. OT. Spencer Brown. player. 28. Pick Analysis. Northern Iowa

The Raiders gutted their offensive line this offseason and enter the 2021 NFL Draft with multiple needs up front. If nothing else, the Raiders must find players who could provide depth on the offensive line in the draft this week.

In the third round of this 2021 NFL mock draft, the Raiders find value with the selection of offensive tackle Spencer Brown. Brown is a long and lean offensive tackle prospect who shows impressive athletic upside and moves well in space.

Brown does lack ideal power at the point of attack and may not be ready to take on a full load of snaps right out of the gate. That being said, he is undoubtedly a gifted offensive tackle prospect who could grow into an impact starter for this team.
