The Las Vegas Raiders enter the 2021 NFL Draft with obvious needs on both sides of the ball. They have major issues across their defensive unit and will also need to spend significant resources on the offensive line. It is unlikely that the Raiders will be able to fix all of their issues over the weekend but they can certainly take a major step or two in the right direction with a strong haul.

Here, we are going to try to improve the Las Vegas Raiders with a complete seven-round 2021 NFL mock draft for the team. Let’s see how Jon Gruden and company can make this team better.

With Penei Sewell, Rashawn Slater, Christian Darrisaw, Alijah Vera-Tucker and Teven Jenkins all off of the board, the Las Vegas Raiders do not find themselves in a great position to improve their offensive line in the first round of this NFL mock draft. That being said, there is defensive talent all over the place, allowing the team to look for trade-down scenarios.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are looking to get aggressive in this 2021 NFL mock draft, sending the Raiders some extra draft capital to get up to No. 17. With no obvious target on the board, the Las Vegas Raiders easily agree to this trade-down move.

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah. 1. 819. LB/S. Notre Dame. player

After trading down a handful of picks, the Raiders are simply looking for value on the defensive side of the ball at No. 24. Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah stood tall as the best defensive player remaining and would undoubtedly be a strong addition for the Las Vegas Raiders.

Owusu-Koramoah is a linebacker/safety hybrid prospect who shows the ability to make plays all over the field. He is an extremely quick and athletic defender who attacks downhill extremely well and shows impressive instincts in coverage. Simply put, he is a dynamic playmaker on the defensive side of the ball who could come in and make an immediate impact for this team. Snagging Owusu-Koramoah after trading down would be a major win for the Las Vegas Raiders.
