1. Kyle Pitts, TE, Florida

Florida’s Kyle Pitts is the clear choice right now for the Atlanta Falcons if they stand pat and make a selection at No. 4 overall. Yes, the Falcons traded for Hayden Hurst to be their top tight end, but Pitts brings a skill set that most tight ends don’t have.

Pitts does great work playing inline, in the slot, or on the perimeter. He can create separation with ease on the outside, using his advanced release variance and change of direction quickness. Pitts is great at opening windows for his quarterback using his hands and can win at the catch point with his athleticism and ball skills. He also changes his route tempo well throughout his stem and hits a second gear working down the seam. Pitts has the length to become a stout blocker at the point of attack, but his technique needs some work at the next level.

Having an offense with Pitts, Julio Jones, Calvin Ridley, and Hurst would be a fantastic group for Matt Ryan. That group will stress defenses to their breaking point, and give the Atlanta Falcons an offense that should put up well over 30 points a game. In a division full of playmakers and top offenses, the Falcons would join the ranks with Pitts.
