2021 NFL mock draft: 25th pick

Pick Analysis. Kadarius Toney. 25. player. Scouting Report. WR. Florida. 52

Jaguars GM/HC: Trent Baalke/Urban Meyer

After selecting Trevor Lawrence with their top pick, where will the Jacksonville Jaguars go?

It’s never a bad idea to invest in helping the quarterback immediately after drafting one, and getting a playmaker like Kadarius Toney certainly helps the quarterback.

With DJ Chark and Laviska Shenault already in place, the Jaguars have the foundation for a very fun offense with Lawrence as the man under center. Adding Toney into the mix would give this unit a dynamic speed element and someone who can win both downfield and after the catch.

After three years of working his way into the rotation and missing time due to injury, Toney exploded onto the scene for the Gators in 2020 with 10 touchdown catches and 161 rushing yards, along with a rushing touchdown.

With his speed, quickness, and explosiveness, Toney would give the Jaguars an intimidating trio of young receivers with diverse skills.

Jacksonville could go any number of directions here, but having Toney would give them a variety of playmakers who excel at creating offense.
