2021 NFL Draft rumors: 10 players that could be traded
7. Anthony Miller, WR, Chicago Bears
The former second-round pick out of Memphis has been a decent option in the Chicago Bears’ passing game with some occasional explosive games, but he hasn’t progressed from the numbers he posted in his rookie season.
As a rookie with the Bears, Miller caught 33 passes for 423 yards with seven touchdowns among them. Since that time, he’s caught 101 passes but only four touchdowns and this past season, his yards per catch average dipped under 10.0.
In the right offense, Miller could still be a weapon. There is no doubt that there is a correlation between his struggling statistics and the Bears’ quarterback situation.
If Miller could go to a team with an established veteran quarterback, he would have a chance to be a big-time WR2 or WR3 for somebody.
The Bears signed speed receiver Marquise Goodwin to go along with Allen Robinson and breakout rookie Darnell Mooney.
Instead of keeping Miller for one more season, they are going to try and maximize the value they can get from him on the trade market.
